Halloween Through the Decades
Halloween is my favorite holiday from scary movies and haunted houses, to pumpkin carving and costume parties, to creepy decorations and sweet treats. I love all our family traditions around this spooky time of year from:
Carving Pumpkins
My mom and I have a fun family tradition of carving pumpkins the day before Halloween also known as my birthday! It's a gore-ific time stabbing and gutting gourds galore to leave jack-o-lanterns glowing at the door.
Dressing up in Costumes
I remember wearing all sorts of fun costumes for Halloween from Cinderella and Tinker Belle, to a candy corn witch and gothic Red Riding Hood, and Wednesday Addams.
Trick-or-Treating
We used to take pillow cases trick-or-treating in order to get more candy. Now as an adult, it is fun to see all the different costumes of trick-or-treaters who come to our door. I have also started participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project by Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE). I offer Halloween toys like bracelets, stickers, tattoos, bouncy balls, mochi squishy, and pop-its as an alternative to candy for kids with allergies or dietary restrictions. I enjoy creating new traditions to cherish along with the old ones.
Haunted Houses
From Fright Night at Six Flags to Howl-o-Scream at SeaWorld, we have embraced all things horror that go bump in the night. It's tradition to face fear during spooky season.

And I love that you offer the extra non sugary gluten treats to those with allergy tendencies👌🫶🏼
