Raymond John Magill
Raymond, son of John Magill and Mary Matilda Matney, was born on March 2, 1896 in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas. He had several siblings including Harold Hugh Magill, Kenneth Henry Magill, Ronald Ralph Magill, Esther Mary Magill, and Stanley Richard Magill. In 1900, Raymond John Magill age 4 lived with his parents John Magill age 35 and Mary Matilda Magill age 24 and his brother Harold Magill age 2 in Ottawa, Kansas. Raymond married Fonda Drusilla McCorkle in 1916 Pettis County, Missouri. In 1920, Raymond age 23 and his wife Fonda Drusilla age 21 lived in Falls City, Richardson County, Nebraska with their 1 year old daughter Fonda Doris Magill. Raymond John Magill age 34 and Fonda Drusilla Magill age 30 lived in Chadron, Dawes County, Nebraska in 1930 with their children Fonda Doris Magill age 11, Russel John Magill age 6, and Norma Carolyn Magill age 2. In 1940, Raymond age 44 and Fonda age 40 lived with their kids Fonda Doris age 21, Russel John "Jack" age 16, and Norma Carolyn age 12 in Lynndyl, Millard County, Utah. In 1950, Raymond age 54 and Fonda age 50 lived in Milford, Beaver County, Utah. Raymond John Magill died on March 17, 1973 in Riverside County, California. He is buried in Milford City Cemetery in Milford, Beaver County, Utah.
Helen Elizabeth Shaw
Helen Elizabeth Shaw, daughter of Homer Ripley Shaw and Vena Martha Warner, was born on November 11, 1916 in Pennsylvania. In 1920, Helen age 3 lived with her parents Homer age 36 and Vena age 33 in McKean, Pennsylvania as well as her siblings Homer Earl Shaw age 14, Blanch Edna Shaw age 12, Nellie Ellen Shaw age 10, F Lewis Shaw age 9, Nelson Warner Shaw age 8, and Verne Wayne Shaw age 6. In 1930, Helen age 13 lived in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, New York with her parents Homer Ripley Shaw age 46 and Vena Martha Warner age 44 as well as her brothers Nelson Warner Shaw age 18 and Verne Wayne Shaw age 17. Helen Elizabeth Shaw age 23 lived with her sister Nellie Ellen (Shaw) Peasley age 30 and her brother-in-law Gilbert Arthur Peasley age 32 in 1940 San Diego, California. Helen married Grayson Walter Meese on April 2, 1949 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York. In 1950, Helen Elizabeth Meese age 33 and Grayson Walter Meese age 31 lived in Downey, Los Angeles County, California. They had row children named Sandra Karen Meese and Gary Allen Meese. Helen Elizabeth (Shaw) Meese died on March 23, 1984 in San Diego, California.
