Quick Bio

My grandma Deborah "Debi" (Beucus) Gould, daughter of Fonda Doris Magill and Elmer Raymond Beucus, was born on 18 August 1947 in Santa Clara, California. She had an older sister Barbara "Bobbie" Joyce Beucus and a younger brother Brian Ned Beucus. She married Gregory "Greg" Gould on 10 January 1971 in San Diego, California. They had two daughters including my mom Summer Gould and auntie Melissa Gould. Debi (Beucus) Gould died on 14 July 2025 in Chula Vista, California.

Grandma's Jewelry

Grandpa Greg bought the silver and blue sea turtle earrings for Grandma Debi in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for Mother's Day. He also bought her the black pearl sea turtle necklace in Tahiti. Grandma Debi loved jewelry from fun dangling earrings to beautiful gemstone necklaces and rings. She would often wear her troll earrings for Christmas Eve with the family. The earrings and necklaces in the first photo are the pieces I took from her collection. One way I honor my grandma's memory is by wearing her jewelry with pride. I often get compliments from coworkers on her sea turtle and dragonfly earrings. I also wear jewelry that she bought me over the years including coconut husk sea turtle earrings, pink cherry blossom earrings, witchy black cat earrings, and sparkly orange BOO earrings. Wearing these pieces is like carrying her love and confidence with me through the day.
