The Recent Crocketts 

Daniel Crockett, son of John Daniel Crockett, was born about 1808. Daniel Crockett had two wives. He married his first wife Nancy Noland on 22 August 1833 in Washington County, Indiana. They had a mini hoard of children before Nancy died including William Daniel Crockett (b. 1834), Mary Jane Crockett (b. 1836), Anna Phoebe Crockett (b. 1838), Elizabeth Crockett (b. 1843), Frances Marion Crockett (b. 1844), Ursula Crockett (b. 1847), and Samuel Crockett (b. 1848). Daniel Crockett married his second wife Elizabeth Sweitzer Pruitt on 25 May 1850 in Washington County, Indiana. In June of 1850, Daniel and his family lived in Gibson, Washington County, Indiana.

Elizabeth (Sweitzer) Crockett died at age 61 on 25 September 1887. She is buried in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Savannah, Andrew County, Missouri. Her husband Daniel Crockett died in December of 1899 in Indiana. The Crockett family name lived on in his sons.
